Join us for Chesapeake Science Point Elementary School’s Black History Month experience: STEM & Soul. Creativity, culture, and community will come together in one celebratory event.
Enjoy an inspiring lineup of performances and showcases, including:
Performances & Student Spotlights featuring the CSPES Steppers, the CSPES Temi Tones Choir, the CSPES Ballet Club, and more
Art & Innovation Showcase highlighting student creativity
STEM Showcase presented through an interactive Living Wax Museum
STEM Demonstration by the Science Guys of Baltimore
Community Connections with table displays from local organizations
Refreshments, music, fun, and community
RSVP by Tuesday, February 10. This will help us estimate a headcount for those who will be joining us for Family Dinner Night.
As part of our CSPES Gives Back initiative, we’re also collecting canned goods, socks, toothbrushes, and hygiene items to donate to the Food 4 Thought Community Outreach Services Inc.
Feel free to come dressed in your favorite expression of Black Excellence—HBCU or Divine Nine paraphernalia, apparel from Black fraternal or community organizations, Black Excellence shirts, traditional clothing representing cultures across the African diaspora, or the classic Pan‑African colors of red, yellow, and green. Most importantly, come ready to celebrate, uplift, and enjoy an unforgettable evening together.
